Delaware County implemented
enhanced 911 in 1997 and is currently capable of receiving and locating wireless
911 calls. The State of Iowa is currently working on the Next Generation 911
which will be an IP based system.
All county 911 calls are received at the Delaware County Communications Center
which is located in the Manchester Police Department.
